you don't need 3" exhaust, unless you're boosting or making some serious horsepower. if you only have simple bolt-on's you're gonna lose on low to mid range. BUT if you really wanna do it, just hook it up with 3" aftermarket cat.

Check out Thermal Research's 3" setups. They look clean and are designed very well.

it doesn't matter how much hp, it matters how much flow you need.

How much flow he will have depends on how much power he's putting out.

Yes it will fit, How much boost are u plannign on running with the supercharger?. I would go with the kamikaze header and maybe the greddy power extremeII(its like 2.75) or something close to that.

Just a warning, using a 3" exhaust on a supercharged car is going to be freakin loud as hell. The turbo guys can get away with it because the turbo itself acts a muffler of sorts. Because you don't have the impeller to cut down some of the noise, it is going to be brutally loud. When our shops turbo Civic blew a turbo, we just hooked the header up when we pulled the turbo manifold off. Running it with the 3" Thermal system lasted an entire 5 minutes. As soon as we started it and the windows in the shop started shaking like crazy we realized we had to put the factory exhaust on until the new turbo went in.

Although, to answer your question, the 3" Thermal R&D exhaust fits just fine. But you will notice in their catalog it says for TURBO ONLY.

I had no problem fitting my Thermal 3" on my car. It rubbed a bit on the ITR swaybar but no biggies.

yeah i already have a kamikaze so im planning on doing either 2.5 all the way back or 3 all the way from the header. I had 2.5 header back on my b20 civic with it gutted so i can handle it being all loud plus the teg is not going to be my second car so im not going to be driving it all the time.
