I'm on my second set of Azenis, and have been autocrossing with them for over a year. I've found that best pressure to run them is 38 hot in the front and anywhere from 40-44 hot in the rear depending on the course and track surface. Hope this helps.

The best pressures we've found running Azenis has been to put the fronts at 36psi. IT seems lower than most people run, but it was amazing the difference in grip when I went from 38 to 36psi. I ran the rears at a much lower pressure, 28psi. But you can also run them higher 42 or so. That is more dependent on your preference and how you like the car to feel. Some prefer the rears higher while others, like me, prefer them lower (Note, for track days I switch and run higher rear pressures as it makes the car more predictable.... go figure)

Your pressures are also dependent on what suspension modifications you have. If you car is very well balanced, you can run similiar front to rear pressures.

So give 36F, 28R a try and see how it is. If the back end is not rotating, drop the psi down a little. I have run as low as 24 with no problems. But as I adjusted the suspension, I was able to raise it up.

I agree. I'm running the 215/45/16 Azenis too.
36 psi in the front is perfect. There is no rollover unless you take he turn too hot.
I'm running 34 psi in the rear and the rear sticks like glue. The only way I can get the rear to step out is if I trailbrake.

High pressures in the front and rear make the car feel too squirly (38 psi f/ 37 psi r)

i have some on 15x6.5 wheels. 42front/38-40back (still workin on the rear)
I have the front at 42psi cuz the turn in is sloppy at lower psi. It's just a characteristic of azenis, but I think wider rims would probably help lessen this problem.

I ran 34psi all around and it was fine. I typically have the front 1psi higher than the rear. This was on 7" width-ed wheels.

38f and 36r seems to work pretty well for me, I may try something higher in the rear this weekend though.

exactly. I tried to search for settings on h-t. I went out and tried them at autocross and they really didnt do much for me.

But like u say, they really do great at lower pressures. Perhaps its due my suspension set up (kyb agx, 435 F 330 R, 19 mm front and rear sways), but at autocross my tires seem happiest with about 31psi in the front, and 20psi in the rear.

For auto-x on a 15x7 with 205-50-15. I run 37 front and 40 rear.

Why are you running a higher tire pressure in the rear? Wouldn't that cause the rear to swing out more in a turn?

is that so bad for a car with terminal understeer?

in a front wheel drive car (especially on a tight circuit), terminal understeer is a huge problem. in our race cars, we live by the "loose is fast" rule and it works for us. throttlesteer is a wonderful thing

more narrow tires in the rear also help with the understeer issue, though, i dont know if that would cause terminal oversteer, which is not so fun

i actually ran 205s up front and 195s in the rear for a while and loved it.
