I Just Wrecked My Teg! Nooooo!

I just wrecked my Integra. 1995 Integra LS 4-door 5-speed, modified with Comptech boltons, Koni shocks, Neuspeed tie bars all around, ACT Clutch, CM Flywheel, Fluidyne, Catz HIDs, 2001 Front Bumper, ITR Lip, the list goes on.
I rear-ended a lady at stoplight, and she hit the car in front, which hit the car in front. It was all bumper-only damage on those 3. The front car was a Hyundai on a test drive! I drove my car home fine, but it is fucked regardless. Damaged parts are the hood, bumper, lights, HIDs, turn signals, radiator support. Who knows what else once I open up the hood. The car is only worth $5k, so it might be totaled. The front-end sheet metal and front radiator support is done, basically. The sides of the front clip are OK and everything else is fine. The good thing is that I have the front radiator support sitting my car, and a complete front clip if need be.
I wasn’t even speeding. I just looked at an Eclipse passing by for a second (the Dark Side!) and when I looked back, everyone had stopped very fast it seemed. I wasn’t following too close. When I looked back I hit the brakes, but didn’t stop. Since it’s a manual car, I can’t really remember but I think what happened was that my foot was on the clutch, and when I panic-stopped I let my foot off the clutch onto the brake. The car started doing the whole let-off-the-clutch-too-fast-and-the-car-spasms deal (especially with my ACT HDSS clutch and Clutchmasters lightweight flywheel. I was so close I just didn’t stop.

ive had traffic seem like it suddenly stop on me just when i look away. im also plagued with looking at every shiny object that catches my eye
. post it up on ebay; ricers love to use their mommys money to buy an already modded car.

It was stock too... I don't know why it caught my eye. Hood bulge, big OEM wing, and nice aftermarket wheels but very reserved style. Just like I like it

damn dude! i wrecked my car and a 99 740il worth bout 70k
oh well eveyrone's first accident is either A) their last, or B) by far their worst! so look on the bright side, you'll end up with a newcar and the thoughts of no more accidents or none to this extent anyway!
good luck with the whole situation, and ur lucky you didn't total anyone elses car.

The ONLY real problem I had with my car before this
A little rust on the rear driver's wheel well... otherwise, very good condition for the miles.

i know how it feels. i hit a ford explorer cuz i wasn't paying attention during rush hr traffic. the explorer was fine but my hood, bumper, and radiator was f**ked. good time for a jdm conv!

damn, that sucks ***. your car looks exactly like mine did when i was hit. i dont think theyll total it. mine was a 94 ls 2dr ls on a salvage title, and judging by your pics, you have slightly less damage than mine. i had 2 choices: they give me the full amt the car was worth and total it, or give me the estimated amount of visual damage and the insurance company was no longer under obligation. the visual damage was 3200. so i bought a itr front end. you should be able to keep your car.

whats up with the ******* accidents nowadays.. there been a sworm of them.. including me.. I just rear ended someone less than a month ago .. seems like after that incident ive been seeing a lot more wreck posts... or maybe my eyes more open to the subject..

Well, the damage doesn't look that bad. I was gonna say you can upgrade to the 98+ front bumper, but you already did that . Honestly, I took a breath of relief when you showed that your HID's still worked. Amen!

Nope, my car is a 95. Its pretty much a design defect on Integras - take off the lining on your rear wheel well edges or it will rust eventually. It keeps stones out and moisture in.
I really don't feel JDM front ends on 4-doors. Looks just like an Accord. I used to not like them at all, but now I'm coming around on them on coupes.
If I come out ahead it will be to boost. But I'm also drawing up a list of other cars... incl. BMW E36 3-series, Porsche 944S2 or Turbo, Prelude, and so on. Would probably have to stay at or under $10k.
Pay $1700/yr for insurance now. Found out that it will prolly go up 40%. That means over the next five years, about $3000 extra. Which means that it is worth it to claim this accident.

And super ironic thing too: this morning on my way to school I was driving the family minivan. There's an E46 330i sitting in the left lane trying to turn left. An 80's Honda next to me just RAMS it in the back. I didn't stop to be a witness... I shoulda. No one did for me.
