Default Custom CAI for a GSR...?

Well, looking to go the nice home made route of a CAI.. And well.. does anyone have some sort of guide as to the steps and dimensions needed for the piping?

u can use the stock intake and stock box.. just take out the huge resonater box that connects to the intake.. cut the tube that goes from the intake box to the resonater and leave it on the box and it should be getting air from the corner where the resonater was...

it is not affective, in cost and performance. Buy my used AEM CAI. look clean and performs well.

Agreed.

When CAI's were expensive, making your own was a suitable alternative. But with CAI's getting cheap, just a get a generic CAI off eBay. As long as the pipe has the proper diamater and design, it will be fine.

**** the generic ones, do what my freind did for his neon, go to a sprinkler or pool store give them tha dimensions buy a k&n and use PVC piping

why don't just use the fedex shipping tubes instead? and tide a damn sponge on the end as a filter.
