95 b18c1 + 90 crxsi
just finished the rebuild on the motor
need some advice on wirng,engine harness,etc.

i will be using obd1 p72 ecu and distrubtor, i dont have a engine harness as of yet but i want to use the gsr engine harness all the way up to the plugs to the ecu.

1. has anybody attempted, possible?

2. I was also wondering about wires from dash to ecu?

i did a search but nothing anwsered my ?
any ideas or suggestions welcome thanx

 

easiest way is to use the 90 crx engine harness, and use a obd0-obd1 jumper. there is no benefit of using the entire obd1 harness.

 

what it sound like your are attempting to do is covert your complete harness to OBD1..... I've talked with Brian at Hasport (he's also a memeber here) he said you will need a full GSR obd1 and a D16a6 harness and ship it to them where they can hack it up and make you a completely new one for $195shipped.

Honestly I don't know the benifits of CONVERTING your complete harness to OBD1 when for only $75 and some time adding 2-3 wires you can have all the functions of OBD1.

what i wanted to do was use the complete gsr engine harness instead of my old d16a6 harness, like if it was going into a gsr, instaed of hacking mine up, but yeah
