Notorious header rattle.....only when warm, not cold!?!?
i'm pretty sure i've fixed all the rattles from the heatshield, but i still have the buzzing from 3-4k RPMs.....
i've noticed that it won't rattle when the engine is cold, but after it warms up, it starts to rattle and won't quit until the car completely cools down.....
does anyone else notice this happening? or does your rattle occur at all times hot or cold?
if not, i'm guessing i still have a heatshield driving me insane.......thanks for any input

I would say if you have a 95 GSR and you hear a rattle between 3-4k, replace the header or fix the a-pipe. Warm, cold, whatever.
I think mine only did it when warm as well now that I think about it.

Yes, took it off already as well as the little heatshield that is under the shifter going over the b pipe. I still have a rattle between 2500-3000 rpms

There's also a heat shield over the cat as well. And most of the time it's that heat shield (usually the upper one) that is rattling pretty bad (mostly at idle, but sometimes at specific RPMs, just depends on the resonance it likes), but you can take that shield off if you have the header heat shields off and still have the rattle.

i have the same problem. mine rattles when it's warm but not when it's cold. i have a '99 gs-r though. i thought the problem was with the '94-'95 gs-r. i took off my 4-1 dc header. i might but it back on before selling it. we'll see if it fixes it.
