Default Who is the best tuner for my Zdyne Gold ecu?

I will be finshed my build up with my Ls/Vtec/Turbo within a week. My car is currently at the bodyshop where they are cutting out my front bumper for my new intercooler. I have 750cc Siemens injectors. I want my car to be tuned by the best. I live in Toronto Ontario Canada and I am willing to trailor this car for some good *** tunning. But I want to make sure that whoever I decide to tune it knows the ins and outs of this ecu and can extract the most out of this system. My setup should make over 400+ whp. I have asked a couple members on here with Zdynes for thier programs for big injectors so I could just get this thing started without having issues. But that is touch and go because if someone spent good money for their program they are probably not willing to give it out. which I can totally respect. So who can point me in the right direction? If push comes to shove I can have it put in a transport truck and delievered to someones shop. Once its tuned give me a call and I will come up for it. I have done that before with Precision when they tuned my GN. But thats my last resort if I can't find someone realitively close to hook me up. So who is game and whats your price?
Heres a pic of my baby seat teg.

From my understanding he just tunes the Hondatas and burns chips.

Good luck Mike. That is was why I got rid of mine, lack of people that can tune it. No one near me had any experience with it or at most very little. Not enough for me to want to spend money having them do it. You might want to consider switching over to OBD-1 and Hondata, thats what I did. It was an easy conversion and the cost was slightly higher all said and done. Good luck and I hope you make good power.

thats what I am scared of too...everytime Zdyne starts to look good to me, I hear that. and everytime, Hondata/OBD1 swap seems a little bit better looking.

GSRswapandslow- I did, I guess I didn't have much luck He said he was going to send it to me last week, but I can't stand pestering anyone to pm him back again. Steve is probably really busy.

blackteg- I know the feeling bro. I am very tempted to do the same. I don't want guess work if I am paying for tunning. I want this guy to handle this as if he made the ecu himself. I just want things right the first time around without the oooppps.

Mike, another thing to consider. Transporting your car to and from a dyno that is far from you would probably cost more then converting to Hondata/OBD-1.

hulkhb-I did the cut out last year on my other front bumper and butchered the **** up. I just recently had the entire car painted (beautifull job) and swore I would never carve up anything again on this car. I would like to hit some car shows and stuff like that with it, so I just want a professional job by someone who knows what they are doing. I am all thumbs when it comes to cutting straight lines in bumpers.

If you don't mind a Trip to FL, we can do it for you.
I have tuned the Z-dyne on almost everything. I have a 98 Type R with one ( Yes OBD-0) , it is a 2.0L with 680cc injectors and a 3bar map.
My own cars runs the Zdyne too.

I have zdyne on my turbo CRX, tuned by st00pid. He did a great job, but i still wish i went with hondata. Hondata gives more feedback (datalogging) and has a lot of features over the Zdyne. My new setup on the car will be converted to OBD1 just so i can run Hondata

The Z dyne doesn't have data logging, But would you trust the accuracy of the stock sensors , Or which ones would you need to tune with.
With a Dyno and a wide band you can do everything you need.
Plus tunning on the fly , and good open /closed loop operation.
I have seen both , Not sounding cocky but I could put anything in my car. I have Zdyne.

Man, Florida is a 22hour drive for me with my truck and trailer. I wish you lived closer. I have never driven that far before. The most I have done was 14hours to Bowling Green Kentucky to race my GN and that beat the **** outta me, almost fell asleep twice and ran off the road. That gratted line on the shoulder saved my bacon. That **** is loud when your tires run over it, not too mention the vibration through out the whole truck.

In case you guys didn't know, they do make hondata for those of us running the pw0/pr3 ecus (JDM b16). An option for the non-vtec obd0 guys is the ghettodyne.

yes software i run off my laptop in car other than zdyne called ecu control OBD0... shows everything your ecu shows temp... air intake temp... rpm.... boost .... mph .... shows cam usage ... vtec ingagment (if you have it ) .... fuel mixture ... map reading .. barometer ... and is fully customizable as in gauges you wish to see ... but you must have a modded ecu (if you have a zdyne its already done if not working only small mods to get it to work all shown on the page ) http://www.ecucontrol.com

it might be cheaper to send a ticket to a zdyne tuner and bring him to toronto

get a couple of zdyne users together and pitch in ........ i hear tickets are cheap at this time of year. plus the tuner will see our beautiful city as well
