Default 88 crx si b16a gas mileage is bad

what would cause bad gas mileage...b16a is running swell/normal. just seems to be using more gas now , than it had in the last 4 months.

positive crankcase ventilation , its usually found between the intake runners and has a hose attached to it that terminates at the plenum.

basically it takes any blowby oil and inserts it back into the combustion chamber to be burned off reducing your octane rating and robbing power.

catch cans are your friend.

So do you replace the pcv valve, or clean it? OR do you remove it for better gas mileage.
