Default Integra86-In need of lowering!

I have myself an IntegraEX16 thats in desperate need of lowering. As its now got 16" rims, the car seems as though its ready for a 4X4 competition. She's in desperate need lowering, and it needs to be at least 60mm as the arch's are 80mm from the top of the tyres. As you may well know the front suspension is torsion bar and the Ive heard a rumour that the rear suspension is CRX/Civic of the same generation, but if someone can confirm it, and maybe a few names and numbers pleaseeeeeeeee!
Also, Das-Tech chips?? Any reviews?

I know from personal experience of owning an 86 and an 88 'teg that you can lower the front torsion bars by adjusting the tension nut on the bottome of the car on each bar, BUT BE FORWARNED, you will bottom out your car by doing this to the OEM bars, there are aftermarket ones out there you can get. This is an ecellent group to post to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/...t=100
as far as the back being lowered, you will need to buy some lowering springs for the back, I think they may be the same as the CRX/Civic of the same year. I remeber hearing that you can swap in the rear sway bar from the integra into a CRX of those years. HTH

There are sets going on in a group buy over at Redpepperracing.com for 1st gen Teg and 3rd gen Civic/1g CRX Litespeed tbars.. They might all be spoken for though....

Ground Control sells rear Coil overs and there are still a few companys selling springs...

You can lower on the stock bars, but the lack of shock travel is what gets you in the end.... OPMMotorsports sells camber plates to extend shock travel by like 1.5 inches. Or grind off the brake line braket, zip tye the brake line to the shock and slide the shock lower into the nuckle for more travel.
