the both look identical. but full race costs TWICE as much as lovefab's, so is there any real difference? i'm thinking of getting lovefab's....

 

One is just a knock-off of the other. Geoff at Full Race made it and Cody at LoveFab copied it, I believe. Correct me if I am wrong. I tried to buy one from Lovefab but he said it was 4-5 weeks out. Full Race shipped mine out immediately, I hope. Geoff called me yesterday and <U>said</U> he shipped it out.

 

the full-race is kind of expensive though. so is that the only difference?

I have seen both side by side. There really is no difference. The difference is Jeoff designed the manifold and has been proven for a while and is able to sell his for the price he does. So Cody started making his own manifolds, same design same quality, same materials, but Im assuming he's doing it as a side thing so he can afford to keep the cost down .
Regaurdless of the wait Cody is working on one for me now . I cant wait to get it. Its a Beautiful , great flowing piece and the price is right for me .

 

I've never seen an instance where you didn't get what you paid for when it came to this thing of ours, but I heard lucifer was wearing a puffy North face jacket the other day so I could be wrong.

Jeoff can charge what he does becuas ehe did all the flow testing on those collectors and designed them , its always cheaper for someone to duplicate them .

no because one is for his b series (full race) and the other for his gf's d series(lovefab).

 

There will be a few FR to SST comparisons in the near future, but they will come with time. As for the collectors, Im sure those are different too. I design mine to work with both t3, and t4 turbos, Geoff does not. Hes very specific about that.
As for overall quality, the extra $500 will go towards impeccable weld quality that I will only dream to reach some day.
My welds have proven to hold, but they arent quite as pretty as Johns(the main welder at FR). Its a toss up really, all about the buyer.
