Default driving hard?

its late n im bored so i got stupid a question....i got a heavy foot when i drive, i hit he gas a lil hard & usually shift around 3000 RPM's and when sometimes i get in that mood and shift aorund 4-5 rpm. i know thats prob not doin any damage to the engine like the vavle seals and guides, but is it bad for the cv joints? i heard some one say when u drive hard its bad for the cv joints.

98 accord ex 5-spd 128k and runs like a champ

Default Re: driving hard? (SIMATIC)

if the car is already in motion, doesnt matter how high you take the rpm. BUT if you are dropping the clutch from 4-5k rpm, you'll put more wear in these components.

one way to save your cv joints is to avoid turning the wheel when the car is not moving, this puts a lot of stress on the joints and can cuase the boots to tear. always turn the steering wheel when the car is in motion, when its possible of course...
