My home track (I guess I can call it that) is hosting the fastest doorslammer shootout. Payout is $50,000 as far as I know it is going to be televised. I have been going to what is known as the Big Dog Shooutout for awhile now. Well I was going to them until I got stationed in New Mexico. It is a race they have the first Thursday of each month throughout the summer at Piedmont Dragway. Well the are going to be racing the other fast doorslammers from other parts of the USA. They also got the 10.5 cars racing and they are capable of running high 4's in the 1/8th.
