Default Looking for HID kit for the R.

Ebay has a bunch of 9006 Kits for 280-350. That is a lot cheaper than Xenondepot.com price of 575 for the kit.

My question is, are the ebay Hid Kits 'poor' quality? Or are most Hid kits equivalent to each other? I'm looking for 43-5k range. Also any good links for great Hid kit pricing?

Thanks.

This is exactly what you want. 4300K. Man I cant stress it enough that HID serves one purpose. And thats to help you see better at night. period. Its not for looks. ("o **** these are bluer/more purple"- none of that BS) In case you didnt know or probably already heard but ALL oem HID-equipped cars are 4300k...light housing/headlights reflectors make it look more "blue/purple"...& the projector headlights are specifically designed for HID...ex. Audi's projectors are among the best out there...lemme quit yapping n say that my R is equipped w/ 4300k genuine Philips ballasts & burners. result= EXCELLENT light output. & I bet all the philips users can vouch for me on this . Major improvement over stock. Color is a whitish/blue from a far (closest looking to it as far as color I would have to say the newer Lexus ES300's). Up close the color is a white/tint of yellow. Purchased these at hid4less.com...excellent service w/ 5yr warranty. I would post pics, but they just dont do justice. You really have to see them in person. Oh & as far as ebay, I wouldnt do it but thats just my take. I'd rather spend the xtra $$$ & get a warranty w/ renown recognition...( im picky as hell when it comes to the R)

Point being...the Philips 4300k ballasts & burners are EXCELLENT on the integra. well worth mod. Hope this helps & good luck man.

its really hard to screw up on the ballasts.

mainly the price difference of these kits is whom makes the bulbs.

some bulbs are higher quality than others.

for instance, bulbs with tint on it = low quality,

bulbs with no tint on them, but tint on the side ignitor = g00t

bubls with no tint on them, and no tint on the side ignitor = non existant
