Can someone tell me what the ID of an ITR throttle body is and also the ID for a b16a sir2 throttle body? I've got the b16a throttle body sitting around and was considering boring it out to the same ID as the ITR and then just replacing the plate with an ITR unit so that it would be the right diameter.
Also where's a good place to find the ITR butterfly plate for sale? I've never seen one sold seperately from an ITR throttle body so I'd imagine I'd have to buy a new one. Do I have another option? TIA.

 

itr is 62 and the b16 is 58 or 60 depending on year

 

Do you happen to know the ID of a b18a1 throttle body because that's what I'm using right now. I'm sure it's the most restrictive piece on my engine right now.
Oh and all I know about the b16 tb is that it's off a JDM b16a sirII engine. Not exactly sure what year only that it's a 2nd gen b16a.

 

b18a=58
b18b=60
b18c=60
b18c5=62
b16=58-60

will the type r throttle body bolt up to my y8 throttle body? And are all 96-98 d-series throttle bodies the same in diameter?Thanks.

 

jweller: are you saying I'm going to have to buy an ITR throttle body assembly in order to get the throttle plate? Meaning I won't be able to find the plate by itself?
