Default B17 to Type r

I am thinking about putting a itr head on my b17. My questin is what part from my b17 will work with the itr head.

Things I am getting for sure
1. itr head
2. ctr cams
3. itr/ctr springs/retainers

Can i use b17
1. lost motion ***.
2. rockers
3. vtec solenoid
4. valves

and anything else you guys can think of

any idea on whp with this

All the parts you list from the b17 will fit the type R head.

so i could buy just the type r head and everything from the b17 is interchangable if i wanted to?

b17 head is the same as a b16 head, type r heads are a mildly ported b16 heads with different internals. send your stock head out and get it ported and polished and get valve springs. unless you can get a type r head for cheap its probably not worth it
