Good Job.. Is that the Comptech Race header??
If you dont mind me asking. What is the motor on diplay for?
A friend good friend of mine is an Acura tchnician. Every once in a while they will send him to Acura school (as we callit), for updates for training on replacement repair of new parts. Last time he was there he said there was a B18c5 on an engine stand. Is this where you work??

This is a random question, but if a guy walked into your Acura and handed you $xxxx.xx in cash, could you sell him that motor right off the showroom floor? Just wondering.

Yes, it is the Comptech Race header. Nice quality piece. The motor display we have is for the event we have coming this weekend.

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=614237

The other was to put outside of our display room. Our display room is rather small unlike other dealerships I work for, it needed a nice touch on what we carry. We also carry Comptech, Skunk2, misc JDM parts, J/G, Spoon and few others.

If your a qualify Acura/Honda tech, normally they we send you to school where they will have cool stuff like some JDM cars for sample used, such as the Honda Stream, etc. I know the Ft. Lauderdall school have a '97 ITR with orginal 23 miles on it for their training program, kept inside A/C.

Cool stuff.

If anyone need pics of it (the motor), I would be more happy to take some for reference used.

Yep, whatever we have in it boils down. If anything, we will have this for awhile, going to be doing a few in-state car shows and events. After that, mostly likly we will sell it at cost, since it was used as demo.

what does a motor like that cost from you guys just out of curiosity?

I know that typically the dealer parts are insanely expensive....so Im thinking that a motor like that brand new cant be anywhere under 10 g's

I've seen a complete motor swap ITR go for about 6800 Cheaper if you work at the dealer, unfortunately crate motors of this sort are no longer available. (Mike K got the last one).

Display looks good Bert, next time I'm in SWFL I'll give ya a shout.

Can you take a picture of the Exhaust port side? And the serial/model numbers, I want to be able to distinguish what a Type-R head looks like (I am in the market for one). Thanks

Is it just me or does that header hang scary low? Any other pics of how low it hangs?
