Default Ricey or Unique????

I found a place where I can get the Type R stickers from the JDM 2002 R... Do you think I should put them on my R? Would that be rice or nice?

Why is it rice? If they're going on a real Type R?

H-PIMP: who thinks H-T ITR members are too quick to flame over stupid sh*t!

U think that putting the Silver "INTEGRA" logo on the back would be going too far?

PYTypeR408. Dont even bother asking the opinions of the guys on this board. Most are uppitty "know it alls", F*CK their opinion! You too are an ITR owner and if you want the stickers then get 'em. Guys like Dan (godspeed) and Mike IPS are good for tech questions. But the rest of these guys dont know **** anyway. Do what makes YOU happy. If I listened to all the guys on this board I wouldnt have 18's on my R, cuz it's "ricey". I got your rice right here. Its called 12 second del Sol. Come and cook it!!!

I was just offering up my opinion. He asked for one, and I gave it to him. I thought because they are not the stickers that are made for your specific car, that it wouldn't look as nice. But yeah, do what makes you happy. Sorry for posting my opinion.

It's not bad attitude. It's just that I'm sick and tired of everybody jumping on the "yeah that's ricey" bandwagon. Say what you want. But we all have freedom of choice. I may have a bad attitude in your opinion. But In my opinion I SPEAK FRANKLY My car is a show condition ITR that gets pampered, gunmetal Ace 18's and Kumhos on stock rims for driving schools and or hard driving. So, in conclusion... WHATEVER!

Why ask for opinions if you cant accept negative ones? Not everyone likes the same stuff... just do what you want and f*ck what others think, even if it means shaving an R and puttin it on airbags... wait, no that would be a sacrilege. Ah well, point is, you must be able to accept both positive AND negative comments - its called "constructive criticism." If ya cant handle it, DONT ASK. EV.

ps. I see nothin wrong with it - your car.

That would be like putting "5.0" emblems on a vintage Shelby GT-350.

The reason I posted what I did was because everytime someone posts a picture of their car. If it doesnt have Regamasters or Spoons. Everyone starts with the stupid rice comments. So f*cking what if a guy decides to put 17's or 18's on his R. After all its his car right? Granted no one wants to see a butchered ITR with Altezzas and a huge body kit. But even then, it's still FREEDOM of choice. People need to learn where the line is drawn. 20 second 4 dr Civics with picnic table wings give us all a bad name, but hey there's nothing you or I can do about it. Plain and simple. Mod your own car to YOUR liking and thats it.

I am with H-PIMP on this one....i got flamed for saying this once before, but honestly the way some people act on this board shows a lack of class, even though they claim to know the best and tasteful way to mod a car , specifically a Type R.......

....hmmmm i have an idea, how about constructive criticism? offering opinions with out making people feel like idiots for asking questions. OR the best method, keep you thoughts to yourself if you think it will be in any way offensive.

Whats wrong with the ones you already have? Not big enough? Not red enough? Not "JDM" enough?

BTW, everything is rice IMO, EVERYTHING!

Rice....hmmmmm....ricey.....by somes opinion...my ITR is ricey...just by the inclusion of 17" wheels/tires...maybe the tanabe sticker in the window...ricey...maybe the pedals...ricey....I like them...some 17 year old kid with his 20 sec. DX...with wings and stickers...he likes it...he worked his *** of probably to realize...to what him...is a vision...a vision that shouldnt be discredited by others...ricey???...are we all so narrow minded that we need to think we are superior...what about a yugo...or a mclaren F1...is Jordan Honda ricey...they have a wing and big stickers...in all realism...I think back to my first 'limited' production front wheel drive purchase...a Shelby GHLS...#114 of 1000 they made...15 years later...I can buy one for 1500$...turbo FWD...intercooled...a cool car....just as the ITR I now own...the 68 Firebird, 72 slammed hi-po14 sec bug I had, the slow *** slammed LOUD Isuzu I traded in for my ITR...and about a dozen other cars Ive owned. do you like your car???...yes....does the ricer like his car...yes...i liked all my cars...and customized them to the trends and my taste. Do I own my Turbo Carrera yet...no sadly. But i do feel fortunate when someone knows what im driving, people turning they're heads to look...like I turn to look at the 'ricers' car...its interesting. So really...what I'm driving at...is we own a 25k car...that in 10 yrs will be worth 20% of its retail price...its a damn good car...probably the best all around car Ive ever owned, should I worry about modifying it...hell no...should i feel all f****d over when I see a DX with R stickers on it...hell no...we need to get a grip here and see the big picture eace:

Narrow minded, arrogant, and, stupid. Are three words that come to mind when people ask me about the majority of ITR owners. No one here is superior just because they own an ITR. Luckily the R club (14 ITR's and growing) I belong to has a pretty open minded approach to finding new members. If you own an R you can be in the club, Altezzas and all. I guess thats cuz we're all from the tri-state area. Where people realize that time wasted bitching about "ricey" mods is just that. TIME WASTED.

Would I personally put Altezzas on my R? No, but if the next guy does I won't knock him for it. Truth is, that most of those guys that are quick to flame others are just all around pussies. That would smile in your face and not say a thing about the next guys Altezzas or my 18's if they met any of us in person.
