On my 89 Crx si. My rear quarter panels are rusted! Im going to cut out the rust which is a pretty big spot on both sides and am taking the same piece from a crx form a yard. How would I put my new pieces onto my car for a permantent fix? I no most will sayin welding but I dont have access to a welder so I was hoping for a dif alternative. Would a pop rivet gun work? Would it be easy to make smooth with body filler or the pop rivots?

Any methods?

no pop rivot gun? I dont even know how the gun works or what it does. Would love to learn.

Yea, unfortunatly welding is the only way I'm aware of. Maybe a body shop will weld them for a decent price. I have a welder in my shop but I'm in Va so that's a little far...LoL

 

How much would it cost to rent a welder for a day.
