Default bore a 1.8 to a 2.0

i was curious....which head gasket should i use...b18 or a b20???...any feedback you be great.....

well if you are boring a b18sleeved(81mm) to a 84mm/2.0L , then get a gasket that is 84mm.

and you couldn't bore a b18 to 84mm. you'll have to get it sleeved

you could use a b20 head gasket or get a gasket from my buddies at golden eagle(909)592-4311

uhmmm.. im currious if the standart (original) slevees can hold up the 84mm bore(with no re-sleeve works) at about 13:1 CR ???
anyone ever try???

I agree with mastermind go get a B20 head gasket from a 98-2000 CRV at the honda dealer

I've searched for the word <U> standart </u> in archive and you come up 3 times. You don't happen to mean standard do you?

I think 82 is kinda pushing it. 82mm maybe on a totally stock car but not a modified one. I would only go 81.5 on stock sleeves
