What happens to those who drive their cars that aren't street legal on the street, for instance...people who might have imported a rhd and haven't legalized yet or those have built the car to be illegal on the roads?

 

impound the car, supend your license, fines....

 

Pull over a local cop and ask him, all fines and penalties vary from area to area.

Be sure to be driving the car when you do

 

And in the case of an illegally imported vehicle, the car will not be insurable.

 

basically it sucks, but there are a lot of stupid people in this world. This means there are people who do not realize a car may be from another country, even skylines can get away with it

 

ah ic...so basically you'd be a dumb **** to be driving a illegal car, thanks for the help guys. also, how would you go about finding out the limit of a certain car being street legal or not. i kno at a certain point your car can only be legal for track use only.
