stroker kits... crower vs golden eagle
**** EAGLE STROKER KIT, not golden eagle****
i am building a 2.2 litre b18c5 race motor, which stroker kit would you suggest, the crower seems to be my choice at the moment because it includes custom pistons and rods to your spec, but its more expensive. please share any experiences with these two kits, or any other options you might suggest are fine too.. thanks

id have to say crower, since i havent heard anything about the golden eagle kit... or that they even had one in production..?
need to hit 300hp somehow...
i guess i should have put, what is the best crank, rod, piston combo... for a 2.2 liter b series...

Need?
Why exactly is that. Building a motor with a goal in mind is a good idea but it sounds like you're building a motor with winning a bet in mind or something.
Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to bash on you or anything.

If you like stroker..I'll go with R&d combo they different ones and all make power. My friend make over 300whp with it..Me personally like good r/s
well you'd want the lightest internal assembly available.
I'd go with custom length probe rods cus they are pretty light and quite affordable.
for pistons, i'd probably go with the new IB "super duper spec" CP pistons. They are some of the best pistons out there.
as for the crank, that's a tough one. I heard the Eagle ones really suck ****, as for crower I haven't heard either or. I honestly have no experience with stroker cranks so I couldn't tell you ****.
What's the displacement going to be? 86*95 or something like that?? What size deckplate?
