whyy wont my motor drop
i disconnected everthing! and it still wont drop all the 4 mounts are off!! the trans side is droped but it seems like the driver side is still up!

4 x 12mm bolts on the lower, drivers side of the motor, facing the rad.
Drop those.
Or, look at where the mount connects to the chassis, and take out those 2 x 12mm bolts.

a/c compressor bracket
p/s pump bracket
side mount engine bracket
alternator bracket
all other engines not included in the above mention have a different style stiffener in the front of the engine. this is from my 96-00 helms

you gotta be ******* kidding me man...if you can look for yourself to make sure everything is disconnected you shouldnt pick up a wrench...take it to a pro damit

All along I thought taking out the original engine was the easiest part of any engine swap. The quickest I've seen it done is around two hours. I think you should get some help.

This makes me wonder if the fuel line, wiring harness, shift linkage, heater hoses, and other doo-dads are still hooked up too.

I'm not trying to dogpile on you or anything, but it seems like you kind of jumped into a swap not fully knowing what's going on yet.
We're here to help, but sometimes I guess some things seem so obvious to people that have been doing it for a long time that they cannot restrain themselves and go for the throat rather than really helping out.
