torquing motor mount screws?

torquing motor mount screws?
my friend and i installed a j's racing engine damper and now the motor makes more noise than before. are we suppose to torque the nuts? if so how many lbs?

I didnt use torque numbers, just tightened it.
Where is the noise coming from?Did you place the washer in the right place?
Check the dampers bolt to see if its hitting the strut tower.

it sounds like the entire motor is rattling. if i remember correctly, he could feel his steering wheel shake while idle.
this mod was done a while ago, but im asking now to help him out. thanks

Well, if its been a while, he might have a busted mount(driver side). Since that damper only seems to stiffen up one side(pass.side).

it creates vibration due to the added stiffness.............so that may be normal
have you tried pinpointing the noise? It could be the hood rattling or something..........mine does that
