Default si dizzy

whats the difference between the si dizzy and the dx. I just bought an si dizzy and the only difference i can see is the cps sensor. I put the si dizzy on my car with the dpfi and the car works fine. is it really an si dizzy or did i get ripped off.

This is all that I have for my mpfi swap:
Si manifold with everything
Si injector resistor box with injector plugs
89 integra ecu
si distributor (I think)

Si has 3 sensors
DX has 2

if u put an Si dizzy on a DX, it will work bc it has the 2 sensors ur old izzy had

and if u did that.... u had to repin the dizzy.... u noticed u had 2 xtra wires... CYL sensor....

I tried an Si dizzy on my DPFI setup and it wouldn't run.... Weird. Runs fine with MPFI setup though.

yeah i don't think it should run on a DPFI setup.. the pickups are different inside, the dizzy would tell the ecu to fire at the wrong times, however its DPFI so it might work, but proally will run really rich?

what are the numbers on the si dizzy??? Is it TD O1U???

The "si" dizzy has the same plugs as the dx, so im not too sure if it really is an si, it does have a little copper sensor thing on the outside that says cp...I bought it at Superior Racing Development. If its not an si im going to take it back and make them give me a real si dizzy.

A TDO1U is a DX distributor. Also, from what you are saying about the plugs, sounds like you got a DX distributor and not a Si one.
