Repairing torn SS line (Nitrous Line)

Hey wassup...my friend is selling his ZEX Dry Kit for 200...but the 15' line that comes from the bottle to the intake has a hole. Anyways i was on ebay looking for a new one there about 40-50 Brand new...but then i saw this... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...79272 do these actually work? has anyone used this kit before? anyways need to know asap. Thanks

I can't really make it out, but it looks like just another fitting to me. Why not just cut the line and splice a new line with fittings on there?

wutcha mean? cut the line into 2...then put the fittings on the sides that you cut then screw them together?
