GSR intake manifold cut and welded to fit a SOHC head?
Anyone considered this? Does it sould like a waste of my time? I guess I would cut the runners and weld them to a sohc

Sounds like alot of work, and the results might not be what you are looking for, but if it wasn't for people like you, things wouldn't be where they are now! Good luck!

Am I missing something? Isnt the GSR intake manifold the best intake honda makes for b and d motors?

i guess that depends on who you ask.

Y8 manifold from a 96-00 EX? never seen any dyno testing to prove it but i have it on my 92 Z6 engine and i like it. I also bolted up a 89 B16A throttle to it with little modifications.
I've used b7,z6(current), y8. I want a b series manifold. Did you like your 89 b16 manifold? What kinda mods did you have to do? Is this a documented thing and commong?

i used a b16a throttle body, not the manifold, sorry for the mistake, the b16a bolted up with no mods, just had to portmatch the intake manifold where the throttle body bolted up to it

Dude, you can't make a B-series manifold work on a D-series head unless you do some crazy *** fabricating. Not only that but the runners on a B-series manifold are almost double the size of a d-series manifold, so port matching would be your head to the manifold would be recockulous.
Just accept the fact it won't work, please?

why do you want to use a "stock" manifold. skunk 2 makes a nice d series
