Toda Flywheel and ACT clutch, just got installed
Ok i got my car back yesterday after getting a Toda Chrome-moly flywheel and ACT stage 3 clutch installed. Might I say my car feels real nice now, it revs a lot quicker and the clutch feels great. The only thing is my check engine light is on and when I am at idle, the rpms bounce from 500 to 1200. the car feels fine and runs great. Anyone have any idea what the problem is? I think it might be a sensor but i don't know which one.
Short the maintanance switch, which is under the dash next to the door on the drivers side. Then with the car started, read the number of short and long blinks on the maintanace light on the dash.
isn't it on the passenger side?
just remove the kick panel under the glove box, reach under there and look for a green rubber block. use a paperclip to jump the blue connector. now turn your ignition to the ON position and the "check engine" light should be flashing.
short flashes equal one
long flashes equal two

Everything was right, cept for the the code translation
Short flashes - 1
Long flashes - 10
And there will be a pause before the next code shows up, and they cycle through.
Long long short short short is 23.
You wont have to remove the kick panel either, you can just go up under the glove box and feel around for the green rubber thing. Paper clip it, and your set...or you can buy a thing from acura which happens to look like a wire connector.
good luck

I bet you anything the speed sensor or some other sensor on the tranny is unplugged. Check for that, run the code and reset the ecu.

hey valentine cr, did you notice with the act clutch that it was harder to engage the clutch smoothly and that he throttle is more touchy?
