Default hole in piston

Alright if you hate to read and are going to bitch for cliff notes stop now! I was running my car at the drag and the last run of the night I fired the nitrious and the car shut down. Yesterday I pulled the plugs to find one completely smashed, shavings all down in the engine. I'm pulling the head today, I think maybe because I put a new computer program in that my timing was uped and thats why I got such severe detonation, but it looks like a valve broke loose, I was only at 7000 rpm at the time and have Mugen valve springs, I'll be real pissed if one of there overpriced parts failed on me! I have to drop my oil pan and everything now to clean it out! The good news is I sold the zex kit and now am going to run 12.1 compression shockwave pistons and get headwork done, I may need to have the head rebuilt anyway, I guess I'll know soon! If anyone has suggestions as to companies and set up for this soon to be ultimate all motor let me know, I have crower 403 cams in it.
