Default difficulty passing emissions with the b16a engine in my crx??

how difficult is it to pass emissions with the b16a engine in my crx? i searched for it but i could not find anything.

you live in MD. You will be fine as long as you have a CAT and full exhaust. B16's pass while in civic SI right.

MD has to do the pipe test on your car because MD works like this. All cars 95 back will have the pipe test done on the car. All 96 up, the VEIP will plug a computer into your ECU and if any code flashes you fail.

In Arizona we have pretty strict emissions. My B16 STD hatch would not pass, it was close but wouldn't quite do it. I even tried that guaranteed to pass stuff, didn't work. I put on an Si ECU from a D16A6, ran like ****, but it passed. I also had t replace the cat. If you've never done that, I would deffinitely try that too.
