I just did a swap into a 99 Civic HB, and already broke a mount. I was planning to purchase aftermarket mounts, but was hoping it wouldnt be this soon. I had less than 300 miles on the new engine and the driverside mount is leaking fluid.

Does anyone know someone else who makes mounts besides HASPORT and Place Racing? Does anyone have any experience with these mounts?

Next question, does anyone know where I might find the lowest price on the HASPORT mounts? I believe they list for $499, but my lowest find so far is $479 from LoCashRacing.com.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if you want it to last go hasport or placeracing. hasport lifetime warranty and there pimp mounts. and is it normal for a mount to break that soon---- meant to anyone else on the thread?

I didnt understand any of that besides "go hasport or placeracing".

man i gotta stop staying up for days at a time, it really messes with my typeing and general english. I was basicly wondering the same as you, as to why it broke so soon. other than saying go with hasport or placeracing.

 

I bought the the engine mount set from Mugen. It comes with all 5 mounts for $300.

Are they just rubber mounts? I have never heard anything about them before. Any problems?

I just forked out the $499 for the hasport set which comes with the 3 main mounts. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

HCP makes quality mounts for a little chaper than hasport im not sure if they make them for your application check there website hcp engineering and FYI place racing mounts have a reputation for breaking.

 

I just checked the HCP mounts and they are $475. The HASPORT arent too much more, so i dont feel so bad. Thanks for the info though.
