Meh, driven both. RSX-S does have a edge over the GS-R in power but nothing too fascinating.

Go with the one that you think will make you look better while driving. Perhaps you should drive both for yourself though.

I own a 03' type-s, and previously drove a GSR before my friends little brother totaled it. Both are good cars, dont get me wrong, but the RSX has an edge. More power, more torque and better handling.(No matter how much some people will argue the last) Now if you are looking for aftermarket potential, the B18 is deffinitely ahead of the game, but it also has been on the market for along time. The K20 however doesnt have as many parts available, but the potential is growing faster than any engine put out every in my opinion.

Show them the money you are going to put on the car and if worse comes to worse bring along a relative over 21. If they still don't let you drive it talk to the manager and tell him he is about to lose a customer!

Stock vs. Stock, Type-S is faster.

GS-R has a SHIETLOAD more aftermarket support. I was gonna trade in my GS-R for a Type-S, but after I test drove the RSX, I said screw it and just bought parts for my GS-R.

I eat RSX's all the time now.

Why are you comparing a rsx-s with a gsr? why not just screw both and get a type-r? u seem to have the pocket size.

If it weren't for thieves and haters, I would be driving an ITR right now.
The car is not for everyone.

With the power that the k20 motor puts out with relatively simple mods (i/h/e and hondata), id definitely choose an RSX over the GSR. Ive driven practically every car honda has made, and the RSX is a very worthly replacement for the GSR, in both power, luxury and handling.
