I want to take out my drivers side seat. My friend is giving me his racing seat for the winter because the leather one gets too cold. Is there any special way to do this due to the side airbag on the seat?

D/C the battery, pull the SRS fuse, and wait about 10 minutes prior to pulling the seat... I believe that's about it.

Oh yeah, do the same when you plan put the seat back in the spring.

if i put EP3 seats in will the airbag light go on?

 

If the EP3 are not the ones with optional airbags, then yes you will see the SRS light.
