Default Studder, and shake below 1800 rpm

When I start out like normal driving. If I don't rev to abot 1800 to 2000 rpm my engine will studder and shake. Kind of feels like wheel hop. So I took it to the dealership and they drove it and they said that is where you have to rev it inorder to have a smooth start.Does any of this sond normal????

I have a 00' Civic Si

Sounds like clutch chatter to me. Does it do it if you dont give it any gas and just slowly let up clutch, like you would if you were creeping in traffic ??....3gdude
