DC tend to break. Some do and some don't. But it seems like it's just a matter of time and how you shift with it.

I have no clue about skunk2.

You probably won't be hearing much more about it. They've gone out of business (Comrade).

Basically their shifters had a set of bearings (rollerblade bearings really) at the bottom, versus a slide-in bearing.

I'm trying to have located a "hidden stash" as I type this. Personally, I'd try out some good shifter bushings and a short shifter before trying the C's. The Neuspeed kit includes both.

Now, the C's driver position shift is another story, that my friend, is awesome. (height/position adjustable).

That's the best one I've ever seen

Too bad they're not available anymore.

wut if u get dc shortshift kit with energy suspension(ES) bushings.

the reason i want dc rather then the skunk2 is because dc reduces your shifting 50% and skunk2 only reduces it 30%

Don't put so much weight in numbers my friend... 20% of a matter of inches is not much of a difference.. Especially when shifting takes fractions of a second.

The more important thing is Shifter Feel/accuracy IMO.

Sure it reduces the distance a few fractions of an inch more. But if you are missing gears frequently, that isn't really going to be a factor.

well the 50% 30% is nott o big of a deal but with the skunk2 your shifter is at stck height but the dc makes it lower so i like that better.
