Default 99 b18c5 into 00 civic si??

I'm doing a 99 type r swap into a 00 civic si. Is there anything I should know before I do it or is it a direct swap?? thanx

I have done that swap and you'll have to use the drivers side engine mount from the b16 for the ITR swap. You'll have to use both mounts..the one off the motor and the one off the chasis to work cause the ITR driver side mount thats bolted to the head isn't as wide as the Si mount. Other than that, the swap is a direct bolt in.

Well I'm done. straight swap. The driver side mount I took off the itr motor and used the b16 top half mount. Reallly tired since i did all the work myself. The header is awesome. 2.5 in collector and it was already wrapped. But the fun starts tomorrow after the oil change and start up. thanx

ok now the swap is done. We have to use the b16 ecu temporaraly since the jdm itr ecu won't plug up. The car won't accelerate under full throttle but will under part throttle. Does the b16 fuel map differ that much from the jdm itr to make it do that??

yes, the ITR fuel curve is a lot more aggresive...
