Which exhaust for my 88 Civic?
I have a 88 civic hatch w/ an auto trans. The car has only 50k miles on it
but the exhaust is original and falling apart
I would like to get a full (cat-back) stainless since i'll probably keep this car till it dies.
Although performance is great, I would say it is secondary to a low decible level since my wife is the primary driver. Affordability is also an issue, but I know stainless is'nt cheap.....
So...any suggestions? Dont forget to leave a web address where i can find the best deals...Thanks!!!

It's usually easier (and cheaper) to just have someone bend you a custom exhaust. There should be some places in your area that can bend a 2 or 2.5in exhaust for you.
2 1/4 inch, custom piping, dynomax, or magnaflow muffler, with some sort of resonator before the muffler. And either a high flow cat, or a test pipe. With a good looking tip to keep it clean. (NO 5 INCH TIPS
)
)
I use a 2.5 es tuning muffler with 2.5 pipe all the way back on my ls/vtec and have nothing bad to say about it. It actually sounds good here is the type. http://www.inlinefour.com/estunsysovun.html
