Default Your experience with turbo kit piping, Definatly does not fit good

I have a max rev kit ready to go on my civic. It came off an integra, i thought it would fit just the same for a civic, But all in all i think the piping id crappy.

Who else has problems with kit piping and just went and got custom?

Im trying to stay away from hacking the **** outa my bumper just to get it to fit right

The piping sticks way out off the intercooler, and the bumper id gonna have to be hacked more...and the charge pipe comes over the top of the transmission. i dont realy like that.

I can take pics tomorrow if you want em

pics would be nice..

as far as it sticking out from the intercooler, i would have to see that one to understand it fully

hacking the bumper, well it might have to be done, but you could mod the pipes to make it better

the piping going over the tranny, well teg's dont have a hole for it to go in the fender from the top...plus the ABS usually sits there also so all the companies go at it from the inside of the engine compartment...

yes...ive already cut out a knotch in the metal bumper and mounted it behind.

I just want the piping to fit fush behind the bumper with out having to cut into the green, painted section

looks fine to me also, I'm guessing installer error.

you can cut the pipes however you want, the maxrev kit is a DIY piping kit.

so the guy you bought it from did it the way he wanted it to fit, and it doesn't fit the same way on yours.

Judging from your pics.... You will have to hack bumper a bit more, then notch the piping a bit more around the bend on the pass. side...

I havw the piping from MaxRev, but did not weld it, so in a sense a bit more flexible. But in the end I had to hack the bumper & cut the bumper frame into an "A" shape, to mount it higher. (otherwise it will stick out the bottom about 1.5")
