Which route would you guys take?
I currently have an 01 accord I4 automatic. Please don't flame me and tell me to sell the car and get something lighter and manual. I love my car and I want to make it a more FUN car to drive. In several days I'll be done installing the turbo kit but what to do next?
Plan A:
-Finish turbo kit
-Hondata stage 2b
-Level 10 tranny and torque converter
-Build block with darton sleeves/pauter rods/custom pistons
Plan B:
-Finish turbo kit
-Manual tranny swap
-Build block but run a FMU setup due to the tranny swap cost
Would you guys go plan A or B???

mmm.. i'd say plan A then save up for a tranny swap later.
I think your engine is a bit too pricey to go messin around with an fmu on. they arent all that reliable, and you dont want to risk blowing your motor.
also you have to guage how much YOU want a manual tranny.
I completely understand how it is to love your car even though the world is telling you otherwise, so do you want manual or auto?
if you dont want manual thart much.. just stick with your auto.. its not that big of a deal.
not saying auto is cool... hehe... its not...
just you gotta guage what YOU want.

I pick .A. because you'll have to get a tranny swap regadless so just get everything right and do the swap later. If you went with .B. you would get everything but in the long run you'll say..............I wish I had have!...
Don't say that.

Thanks guys. I think I'm going with plan A. We'll see down the road if I really want a manual tranny. I currently have a manual civic but I'm so much happier with my auto accord.
There is an auto accord here with a hondata setup. I forgot his name something like accordexsomethingoranother. Secret services also said it was a simple install. You just got to get an auto P28 and you're set to go.

does a hondata even install on a Manual 98+ accord. I never see them for sale.
I'm using an additional injector controller to control 2 extra injectors to accomodate boost. Works good so far, but a standalone would be awesome.

Like I said earlier........Secret Services said you have to get a P28 ECU and a hondata system will work on the 6Gen accords.
