My friend has a 89 CRX Si and his tranny will stall out in first sometimes, also it's hard to shift into first and into reverse somtimes. We think it's the synchros. Does anyone know a good place in So Cal to get this fixed? Also, around how much would it cost to do?

 

reverse doesn't have a synchro. try and adjust the cable clutch...that might help. if not you are better off just finding another tranny.
