What To Do?. Machine Shops Cant Press Pistons
Ok, I'll start at the start, lol,
My timing belt snapped, and while i was in there i figured i would put in some p30 pistons in my LS to give me some more gains.
well every machine shop i have taken my LS rods and pistons, along with the p30 pistons, they said its like a 50-50 shot that they could bust up the pistons because of the pressure? what should I do, i havent driven my car in well over a month in a half and im starting to really want it back, im almost at the point where i say **** it and just do my bone slow stock LS motor.
what are yalls thoughts or suggestions?
thanks for your time.

Im not sure about your piston problem but they should be able to put p30 pistons on ls rods.. Do you have new rings and everything? And dont worry bro my car was gone for about 2 months and I just got it back... It was worth the wait! Hang in there.
Talk to a Honda or Acura dealer-find someone there who actually knows something. There is a special tool for pressing piston pins in and out. Or find a good machine shop that specializes in Honda/Acura.
Are you trying to save the old pistons to reuse later?Sometimes the pistons will distort when pressing the pins out,but that shouldn't affect the new pistons going on okay don't know why they told you that.
Any Machine shop should be able to do it all they do is Heat the rod up with a torch and then push the wrist pin out.
