Im planning on buying a Fiber image cf hood but i dunno the quality and fitment of it. Can ya please shine some lite. Thanks

 

i got a fiber images cf hood that was warped and fit like crap. i sent it back and it took about 2 months before they sent me a replacement hood. the replacement hood wasn't perfect either. i'll probably take some pics of the problems and see if i can get fiber images to cut me a deal since the hood has flaws.

 

On all accounts of my experience with Fiber Images CF hoods, they've all been bad experiences and the problem is the same one every time...

I've known 3 people with FI CF hoods...same thing in all cases. The passenger-side, rear-edge of the hood likes to protrude significantly. The only compromise is that you can move the hood back to try to compensate for the gap, but then the hood ends up looking a little funny on the front where it meets the bumper. Not a good product if the quality control on fitment is this bad.

 

I'm surprised to hear this. Although I don't have the hood I haven't heard anything but good things regarding them.

Mine fits good, but I put a self stick rubber gasket from pep boys around the front. A guy with one one his integra I met at the track was also satified with his.

 

mine fits good are you sure it was FI i have seen a lot that claim to be FI that are not and they fit like ****
