where do i get sub rings?
you can buy them from http://www.selectproducts.com, but they are super expensive....
The best way to make them, is with a jasper router jig (or homemade, but the jasper one is the best by far) and a router.
They come out perfect every time.
If you don't have the tools to do this, you can get them made by Mr. Marv over on elitecaraudio.com - do a search for him and you will get plenty of info.

I like my homemade jig. It only cost me 4 dollars and makes perfect cuts every time.
I would like a jasper if it would fit my router though. I think it is a little expensive at 40 dollars, but cnc machining is expensive.

I used to have a home-made jig, but I hated having to remeasure, then drill a new hole every time.
I thought the Jasper jig was expensive, until I used it for the first time. It's the most essential accessory (besides good bits) for a router. Now that I look back on it, I would have paid $80 for one. It's graduated in 1/16th" increments....can't beat that!!

True, but I did not buy a router that it would work with. The black and decker router that I have has a strange bolt pattern for the vacuum thing. So it will not work for me
