stubborn stains, waterspots.
guys i got a black car and all over the roof theres waterspots and stubborn embedded stains that are into the paint which i cant get out, ive tried polishing compount, cleaner waxes. nothing... anyone have a solution ?
A buffer machine + no experience using a buffer = destroyed paint.
If you don't know how to properly use a buffer, burning the paint or ripping off the clearcoat is pretty easy to do.
Take it to a detailer.
Nate.

Try clay bar, that should take out a lot of the stains. As far as a buffer goes, you can get a buffer that won't destroy your paint, I think its called an "orbital" buffer, um or that could be the bad kind
I forget. I know Meguire's makes a good one. Anways you should be able to get the same results by hand, just takes a little more work. If clay bar doesnt work try a stronger compound, I use 3M fine cut rubing compound alot. Just don't overuse it or you could take off the clear cloat
coat.
