need help with fuel

Default need help with fuel

i have a 93 intega build gsr with a wabro pump for maybe one year already. well at idle i have it set a 45 psi and at about 6 grand on i just lose fuel pressure could that be caused by the pump or by the regulator because i am using a cheap *** reg ...

it could be the regulator. i doubt its the fuel pump, walbro pumps are good stuff. do you have a fuel pressure guage inside the car? how do you know your loosing fuel pressure?

how do you know you are loosing fuel pressure? is that at N, & reving it to 6,000rpms or with LOAD?.... do you have a cel on?

walbro are great..... but it is possible you have a defective one. I'd check the pump as a last resport.

yes i have a fuel press gual inside and wright at 6000 press just drops to 40 down on. other people have told me to check my regulator and go from there

you have a gauge INSIDE your car or in your engine bay?

your are seeing this RIGHT when you are at 6000rpms... are you driving or just in neutral?

I have a fuel pressure guage on the regulator and on my pillar next to my air to fuel meter, i changed my fuel filter today and it seems to have helped out just barely drops but still thinking about changing out the regulator..

have you any bad things about the wabro pumps going bad or no

i have never heard anything bad about walbro stuff.. what kind of regulator do you have??
