Sorry guys, I've been busy with house issues lately.
Here's the update: I'm about 100 miles shy of the 1K mile break-in period. Maybe this weekend I'll get a chance to do a leak-down and compression test and see if everything has seated satisfactorly.
I still have some serious engine management decisions to make before I'm ready for the dyno, but my seat of the pants impression so far has been excellent. Right now the car still has stock injectors, and the old Comptech header and 2.25" cat on it. Even so, it pulls very strong from low rpm's. It's pretty surprising how much torque it actually makes. Even short shifting at 5K, you get a pretty good neck snap.
Some observations so far. If you want to make a Mugen exhaust sound loud, get a 2.0L motor.
So much for being stealthy through te neighberhood. The engine runs like a top. Even when cold the pistons are no louder than stock.
I'll probably get the Hytech on within a week or so, and then I'll tackle the tuning issue. I should have some numbers by the beginning of September for sure.
Mike

Alright Mike...I'll have to make a trip down thers to see the beast...and you can take mine for a nice little drive...Shad has it this week for some R&D on headers, Harry, Ken, Mike and a few others drove it on Saturday after my trip to DynoSpot...I'll have plots up as soon as Marsey gets them scanned on for me.
