Default door won't open

So my drivers side door won't open anymore. I've got power locks and I hear it unlocking, but when I pull up on the outside door handle or on the inside door handle, it won't open.

My guess is that the latch to open it came loose or is broken. Any way to pop open the door to see what the heck is going on?

Please help! It sucks crawling over from the passenger side...

Thanks,

Take off the door panel and see what you can find. Cant really help much without knowing more or being there to see it.

Maybe the actuator rod got bent. It happened to one of mine.
Or, the little nylon retainer came loose. Vince is right. Take off door panel and see.

I would take off the door panel if i could get the door open! Can I still take it off with the door being closed? The problem is that the door is closed and I can't open it...therefore, I can't take off the door panel without cutting it or something.

please help.

Try this it worked for me when I couldnt get mine open. Have friend pull up on the outside door handle while you move the inside locking button from "lock" to "unlock" back and and forth. If that doesn't work try a slim-jim. Let us know how it turns out. But, dont cut the door panel just yet.LOL

Ahhh Damnit I forgot that you cant take the door panel off without the door being open unless like you said you rip it off. But that might be your only option?? try taking off the plastic around the inside door handle and see if you can figure out anything that way maybe use a coat hanger through the handle and see if you can do it that way as well?? If anything take off the passenger side and take a look around to see what it might be and then use that to figure out where all the locking rods and mechanisms are and then use the coat hanger (or something??) to try to do it that way. If the rod disconnected from the lock itself you might have to use a slim jim or soemthing to basically "break" into your car.

*EDIT* Damn I type slow try what he said above me as well!!

Okay guys! Got the door open. It seems that the lock/unload plastic button broke where the rod connects to it... Thanks for all the suggestions..
