CRX owners with type R swaps...
Heres the deal. I got a ITR swap. Its in my car. My car is a 89 LX. I want a CRX to save some weight and to be cool!
This guy just messaged me and said hes selling his 88 HF, if the deal goes through then i will buy the rex, swap motors, and sell the 4 door with the d15. Thus i will have a ITR powered CRX HF. Correct me if im wrong, but 88 HF's weigh 1820 lbs. right? So with the heavier motor it will weigh in at about 1875. That is incredibly light!!! what ET's are possible with that setup on street tires and full interior. I never gut or run slicks, if its a street car i say run it like u run it on the street. Im interested in what you R powered CRX guys are runin and how u like it.

Yes, the 88 crx hf is the lightest one at a little over 1800 pounds. I have ridden in a 91 crx si (heaviest) with a b18c5, and it was so amazing. With a 1800 lb crx, it will be that much better. Ryan
PS, he said his 1/4 was low 13's. He has basic stuff. I/H/E/C/fpr/exc..
