High Flow Cat.
Right now im running the a stock y8 in my '89 SI and im in the need for a new cat. Im just wondering if going with a high flow cat will make any kind of difference at all, or should I just go ahead and get an OEM one.
TIA.
TIA.
A high flow cat will definately flow more CFM than stock. One of those things that can't hurt. With a perf exhaust, they can change the exhaust sound somewhat. I like my carsound 2-1/4"

Thanks guys. You guys have been a great help. Im gonna check out the catco one.
Ya, i've also got the 2 1/4" catback GReddy on it right now, so if it makes any kind of a difference at all its worth it. Well, I guess even if I dont notice a difference its still worth it since I need a new one anyways, haha.

I am running carsound. You can get the universal on ebay for 50 bucks. I actually called the place rather than order it through ebay.
I searched and it looked like carsound had more positive input than catco, but whatever works for you.
