URGENT question: About Rear Disc Brake Conversion!
I got all the parts, and I am in the mood to do this. I have a complete 99 Si rear end, 99 Si prop valve, and 99 Si master cylinder.
I have the different proportioning valve......must I use it? Why? Does the pressure going to the front and rear brakes change so much when doing a rear disc conversion.
I want to know cuz removing the valve is probably going to be a beeaaach.

I did a GSR rear disk brake conversion on my car...and did not use any Teg parts for the Master cylinder or any thing else...car brakes like a champ....So I would not deem it necissary...but it would improve braking a lil more
If you don't do the swap, youll seem considerable more Pedal Travel and less braking power...basically it wont brake any better than before until you do the swap. I just added the MC and Prop and its way better and ******* easy to do.

yeah I agree swapping the master cylinder and prop valve is Really easy...and now would be the best time to do it since you will be bleeding the brakes anyway when you are done
