Going to get a set of plates in less than a week and Ive made some money somehow out of my tight *** budget and have the 200 for a custom plate and thought it would be cool to get one. Dont have any real good ideas, so Ill need some help. Want it related to my car or racing or my name or something of the sort.

Heres my info:

1989 Crx Si with jdm dohc zc swap
Kevin St.John
-catback exhaust
-iceman cai
-wings west supra wing
-z3 fenders
-rota slip 15" rims painted white
- will have a body kit and paint job after summer.

Since my car is going to be only running high 14's for quite some time I dont think I can get YOULOSE or anything.

My friends usually call me JOHNNNER but its gay. Had these plates on the top of my head:

MY SI

Forget any more. Has to be 8 digits or less, I love the small ones.

I dont care if I get flamed. I bought the fenders because they were cheaper than OEM and I like tham and I got the supra spoiler for 150 shipped so I thought SICK

My buddy with a 90 si hatchy ran a 15.3 with a stock sohc zc. I have a jdm dohc,intake,exhaust and a gutted rear and lighter wheels and yo dont think thatll cut .4 off the 1/4?

I live in a town where there is no rice, everything is good. town has less than 6000 people.

But you see I cant afford anything more under the hood Im 17 and am only a grade 11 in hs. I work part time as a prep cook for 8/hour and have to pay for everything on my car including insurance under my own name. I cant afford a 3000 turbo or even a 750 nitrous kit. Theres not enough people to race in my town for me to worry about speed at my age. I dont want to have all that power @ 17. Ill kill myself. Im more interested in audio and looks.

ahahaa...$200? gahd...well, that's like what $150US but still...$200?!?! There's so many things you can get for $200CDN.
I'm glad I'm in Maine. It's only an extra $15 a year for personalized plates.

to stay on topic, why get custom plates now? i mean yea its cool to see, but why not put that 200 in the bank and save it for your paintjob or somethin?

 

haha two points, i like dohc and sohc , but to go around and bash other peoples rides on who has a better motor is just wrong, to be honest you only have a b16.
for the money and availability single is the way to go

 

just because your 17 and have to pay for everything doesnt mean you cant be fast... look into cheaper alternatives like home-made turbo kits and stuff... you can be fast pretty cheap..

so now you have enough here to start off cheap work with a sohc motor, you got upgrades on the sohc upgrades page, you got home made turbos to work with, or you can go n2o for cheap too, buy a used kit, like i said earlier, 200 bucks will go along way, you just have to know what your buying, and youll learn that soon enough
